After almost 10 years spent “living together” in their premises in Gals and following a strategy initiated several years ago, the companies Sysmelec SA and mta automation ag are pleased to announce that they will merge at an operational level on January 1st 2012, thereby creating Unitechnologies SA.

unitechnologies located in Gals (Switzerland), groups together several companies including mta automation ag and Sysmelec SA. The group brings together a wide variety of experience and capability, from technical consulting to turnkey production equipment.

mta and Sysmelec are the favoured automation partner for the highly demanding assembly and processes of numerous companies worldwide in industries such as medical, watch-making, micro-electronics, automotive, instrumentation and telecommunications. Both companies are present on the same industrial site and occupy more than 100 highly-qualified specialists.

mta automation ag has key-competences in point-to-point selective soldering and volumetric dispensing processes, based on proven international experience since 1966. mta designs and realizes standardized systems for the automation of these processes adapted to its customer specifications thanks to its competences in this domain.

With 30 years experience, Sysmelec SA designs, realizes and delivers turnkey robotic systems for high precision assembly of miniaturized products. The company has a wide range of engineering competences in order to help its customers satisfy their needs. Sysmelec also offers standardized automatic modules for a chosen number of applications.
